September 1961– the Association funded the construction of the 450 Squadron Memorial located at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW
April 2006– the Association Committee, made up of original members of the 450 Squadron, decided that it was time to step down and pass on the running of the Association to the 'Children of the 450'.
July 2006– the Association became an Incorporation under the management of the 'Children of the 450'.
March 2011– the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., completed Stage 1 of the Restoration project of the 450 Squadron Memorial located at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.
April 2013 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their seventh term in office.
April 2014 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their eighth term in office.
April 2015 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their ninth term in office.
March 2016 - Air Commodore Vincent (Joe) Iervasi OAM graciously accepted appointment of Patron of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc.
April 2016 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their tenth term in office.
June 2017 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their eleventh term in office.
April 2018 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their twelfth term in office.
June 2019 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their thirteenth term in office.
June 2020 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their fourteenth term in office.
June 2021 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their fifteenth term in office.
June 2022 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their sixteenth term in office.
June 2023 – the Executive Committee of the 450 Squadron RAAF Association Inc., made up of 'Children of the 450' entered their seventeenth term in office.
The 450 Squadron RAAF Association Incorporated is indebted to the late Alan J Harris dec., a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force on loan to the
450 Squadron RAAF during his WWII tour of duty in the Middle East. Alan's loyal support and legacy has made this Website a reality, in the name of the famous Desert Harassers®.
