The restoration of the 53yr old 450 Squadron Memorial located at RAAF Base Williamtown, NSW.
Proudly funded by the Department of Veteran Affairs, under the "Saluting their Service Commemorations Grant" along with substantial donations from members, family and friends of the 450, began in September 2010. This stage of the project included the complete restoration of the 53yr old 450 Squadron Memorial with the inclusion of two time capsules, and was completed in March 2011.

Our 76 year old not-for-profit association, established in Italy in November 1943 was managed by a group of the original members of No. 450 Squadron until April 2006, when it was handed down to the 'Children of the 450' to continue in their fathers' footsteps.
'To promote the contribution of the 450 Squadron RAAF to world peace and perpetuate the memories of the squadron members.'
Membership has steadily grown, with a combination of
Life Members–veterans and widows of No. 450 Squadron,
Full Members–direct descendants of the veterans of No. 450 Squadron known as the 'Children of the 450', and
AssociateMembers–'Friends of the 450'.

The 450 Squadron RAAF Association Incorporated is indebted to the late Alan J Harris dec., a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force on loan to the
450 Squadron RAAF during his WWII tour of duty in the Middle East. Alan's loyal support and legacy has made this Website a reality, in the name of the famous Desert Harassers®.
